In 1979, 1980 and 1981, Hota was honored to
receive the nomination for central Taiwan’s “
Outstanding quality manufacturing facility for producing navy
equipment “ by the Council of Commodity Inspection under
the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
In 1982 the Council of Commodity Inspection
nominated Hota for “Outstanding Quality Manufacturer”.
In 1995 Hota received ISO-9002 international
quality assurance certification jointly accredited by the
council of commodity inspection under MOEA and British Standards
Institution. Hota was Taiwan’s first professional gear
manufacturer to receive such accreditation.
In 1998, Hota was accredited by the British
Standards Institution with the QS-9000 certification, becoming
Taiwan’s first professional gear manufacturer to be
recognized by United State’s Big 3 automakers.
